-Need experience working in the outdoor construction industry, this job is very physical.

-We install landscapes, we do not mow lawns.
-Installing everything from retaining walls, trees and plants to underground sprinkling.

Advantages of working for Birchwood Landscaping
We install landscapes, pavers, walls, etc. But we also do the sprinkling ourselves, we do the hydroseeding. Your not doing the exact same thing every job, which to me is important, I like a little variety in life.
We do not plow snow. What we are doing, is getting construction work lined up, i.e.. Pole barns, siding….decks.
We are not a large company, I like that. I like having 2 –3 full time guys with a couple high schoolers in the summer.
We started 19 years ago in 2001. Started out with a pickup truck type deal and now we have quite a bit of John Deere equipment. Its important to have nice and reliable equipment, I like having all the attachments too, it just makes life easy. We recently purchased a 2016 John Deere 50G mini excavator to help us on our projects. We grow a lot of our own trees and have a Dutchman Tree Spade to get that job done. We have invested in equipment and want to invest more into the men working it.
