Sticking with general heating of homes, let’s talk about outside your home. Did you know that these pipes coming out of the side of your home are directly connected to your gas or propane heating system? It’s crucial that these pipes don’t get clogged up, as you can read below.

When shoveling after substantial snowfall and/or substantial snow drifts, it’s important to walk around your house and clear areas like this. You should make sure to clear all the doorways to your home too, because in an emergency you may have to evacuate and you can’t always rely on the one doorway you shoveled out.
