We’re in full swing with road construction.
Normally used to seeing plots and roads on a screen, but out here everything becomes real — decisions are made on-site, shaped directly by the land. It’s incredible to watch Reserva Cerro Áspero come to life. 🌿🚜✨

Fue un placer visitar la feria de la construcción en Montevideo el fin de semana pasado en un día soleado y con la mejor compañía ☀️😎 Algunos productos interesantes llamaron mi atención, como el hermoso proyecto de Ñandé y la sauna de Milet. Ojalá las soluciones en madera tengan cada vez más protagonismo en el futuro, en Uruguay como en toda Latinoamérica.

It was a pleasure to visit the construction fair in Montevideo last weekend on a sunny day and with the best company ☀️😎
A few interesting products caught my attention, such as the beautiful Ñandé project and Milet’s sauna. Hopefully, wood-based solutions will continue to gain more visibility in the future, in Uruguay as well as throughout Latin America.

Delighted to start two new landscape design projects in Punta del Este, Uruguay! 🌿✨🥂🎶

Together with our great international landscape team from Kestävä and , we will create atmospheric and meaningful green environments for an Aken luxury hotel in winery and an exclusive music auditorium. Both projects feature CLT wood construction and are developed by .

Last week we visited both sites with the team — an inspiring beginning!

We also met some very kind (and cute!) horses — wonderful landscape maintainers, by the way :)

Kestävä participó en la Expo Construir en Buenos Aires, donde tuvimos la oportunidad de dialogar con actores clave del sector de la construcción y explorar la situación actual de la innovación en construcción sustentable y el uso de madera en la edificación.

Actualmente estamos realizando, junto con las universidades Aalto y Tampere y con el apoyo de Business Finland, un estudio sobre las oportunidades para la construcción en madera en América Latina.

Last week, we had the great pleasure of hosting our long-term partner, , for a visit to Uruguay! Together with , we toured some latest wood construction sites in Montevideo and Punta del Este.

Kestävä brings together the top experts in sustainable construction and urban planning from Finland and Latin America and contributes in the projects as coordinator and a specialist in landscape architecture and environmental planning. Looking forward to our upcoming collaboration projects! 🍀
