We are a family business and all of the principals both past and present have come from construction and design backgrounds. Since 1985 Tradewinds has been building or r

enovating St. Thomas homes. There are some good reasons to choose us for your project. We are not newcomers to St Thomas. We have been actively building here for over 30 years. We can help you navigate through "the ropes" in building on an island. It has challenges, but in our opinion there is no better place to live and work. But that is not the only asset we bring to the table. We are licensed and insured. That fact in addition to our long term commitment to the Virgin Islands is a good reason to choose us even if you are just doing repairs to your home. In the years that we have been building we have been thrilled to have been part of the creation of many of St. Thomas’ outstanding homes both large and small. We rarely rely on subcontractors, preferring to have control of the quality of work from the ground through the last stroke of paint. We are including a couple pictures here but we would love to show you some of our work. Our employees are very experienced and very committed to quality. We love it that we can say almost every one of them has been working with us for over 15 years. We know full well that their abilities are quite a bit of the reason that our homes are so beautiful. Tradewinds Construction has a great working relationship with our local Architect’s and vendors. We believe that you will not find a contractor with a better reputation. It is exciting for us to get a call and be accepted as contractor for a project. No matter if it is a new home build, a renovation or small additions or repairs. This excitement does not end for us when we get to work. We very much enjoy working closely with our clients to make sure that the home is everything that they dream of. Got a challenge? In 1985 Tradewinds got its start at a job on Flag Hill, and starting yesterday, we are back to make it better than ever. Our clients said the only portion of their house that was lost was the part that Tradewinds did not build. They said "We want our house to be 100% Tradewinds Built!" Made us feel great!
