With the WEF Annual Meeting fast approaching, re-construction for the ICEhouse™ (Innovation for the Circular Economy House) in Davos is officially underway! This year marks the sixth time the Cradle to Cradle-inspired building has been assembled/disassembled and will serve as a gathering place for those attending the meetings.

Happy Earth Day from WM+P! We have lots to celebrate as today also marks the 20th anniversary since the publishing of Cradle to Cradle and the opening of our latest project, Apex plaza. Apex is the largest mass-timber building on the East Coast, representing the evolution of C2C as our most recent C2C-inspired project. WonderFrame, the same structure used in the annually assembled and disassembled ICEhouse, was also used as a shade structure for our recent project in Bogotá for Universidad EAN. The multi-colored panels supply shade and a sense of privacy while providing daylight and views for the occupants. The WonderFrame was designed with the circular economy in mind as the elements of the structure can be endlessly used, reused and recycled.

While being in Park 20|20, one can sense the characteristics of a modern sustainable atmosphere that also blends in very well into the context of its surroundings. In brief, it was a fun and refreshing place to be.”
