Perched in the captivating East Coast enclave of Singapore, an elegantly crafted terrace house unfurls to provide a haven for a multigenerational family encompassing three generations.

Positioned at the summit of the hilly locality, this dwelling asserts its prominence, affording a strategic viewpoint across the rolling terrain. The gradual ascent of the site introduces a notable architectural element—a pioneering 'basement' level seamlessly integrating with an expansive rear garden, affording sweeping panoramic views that extend far and wide.

This subterranean haven becomes the nexus of culinary delight, housing the dining area and kitchen. Here, the art of gastronomy merges seamlessly with nature's offerings, as the indoor dining experience harmoniously converges with its outdoor counterpart. A lofty double-volume void suspended above the dining space is a beacon of illumination, channeling natural light and refreshing breezes to create an atmosphere of ethereal elegance. This arrangement fosters a dynamic interplay between the dining zone and the adjacent living quarters on the first floor, facilitating a harmonious flow of interactions.

A masterstroke of design, an internal light well takes center stage, orchestrating a symphony of cross-ventilation that resonates throughout the entirety of the residence.
