Thật thú vị khi quan sát các bảng màu chủ đạo của Pantone tại Tuần lễ Thiết kế Milan 2026. Xu hướng năm nay là sự chuyển mình linh hoạt giữa những tông màu đá quý bão hòa, sắc hồng năng động, xanh khoáng đạt, vàng nắng rạng rỡ và những gam màu đất nung trầm ấm.

Một dự án cộng đồng đầy cảm hứng! Chúng tôi đặc biệt ấn tượng với cách Performance Pavilion tại Công viên Luther George thiết kế cảnh quan và cấu trúc công trình dùng chung một 'ngôn ngữ'. Hệ mái che liên tục bằng thép chịu thời tiết không chỉ định hình một không gian tụ họp công cộng mà vẫn giữ trọn tính kết nối mở - tạo ra nơi chốn cho những buổi trình diễn, cho nhịp sống thường nhật, và cả những khoảnh khắc tĩnh lặng xen kẽ. Khi lớp thép già đi, lớp màng oxit tự nhiên sẽ dần hòa với tông màu của đất xung quanh. Điều này khiến công trình không còn là một vật thể tách biệt được đặt vào công viên, mà cảm giác như một thực thể vốn dĩ đã luôn thuộc về nơi này.

A cool project for community use! We like how Luther George Park Performance Pavilion lets landscape and structure speak the same language. The continuous weathering steel canopy shapes a public gathering space without closing it off, creating room for performances, daily use, and quiet moments in between. As the steel ages, its natural patina slowly blends with the tones of the surrounding land, making the pavilion feel less like an object placed in the park and more like something that has always belonged there.

Thiết kế cảnh quan tốt thường bắt đầu bằng việc ưu tiên không gian cho cộng đồng. Giữa cơ sở hạ tầng đô thị dày đặc, dải đất hẹp dưới line tàu điện ngầm được biến đổi thành sân chơi, công viên cây xanh mini và không gian nghỉ ngơi chung. Sự sáng tạo đã biến những gì từng là không gian thừa thành nơi sinh hoạt sống động.

Một thành phố đáng sống hơn là khi ngay cả những không gian nhỏ nhất cũng hữu ích và trao trả cho cộng đồng cư dân vui sống.

The best landscape design often begins with giving space back to people. Beneath heavy urban infrastructure, this forgotten strip is transformed into courts, greenery, and shared ground, turning what was once leftover space into a place for community life.

A city works better when even its smallest spaces belong to everyone.

Hơn 900 thân tre bao quanh cấu trúc vòm tròn 70m, biến vật liệu bản địa quen thuộc với Châu Á thành tác phẩm kiến trúc kiêm bề mặt trình chiếu ấn tượng. Trong Ring of Celestial Bliss của J.J. Pan & Partners, tre đảm nhận một vai trò hoàn toàn khác - một "lớp vỏ" kết nối văn hóa, công nghệ và sự bền vững.

Chúng tôi khá yêu thích tre, loại chất liệu truyền thống, và cũng thích cách tre ngày càng đa dạng cách sử dụng đầy sáng tạo, không chỉ hòa mình vào không gian nghệ thuật sắp đặt mà còn trình diễn được trên quy mô lớn, khai phóng thêm tiềm năng qua lăng kính thiết kế sâu sắc hơn.

More than 900 bamboo poles wrap the 70-meter circular structure, transforming a familiar local material into both architecture and a glowing surface for projection. Here in this Ring of Celestial Bliss installation by J.J. Pan & Partners, bamboo takes on a completely different role. Bamboo can move beyond craft or structure, becoming a living skin that connects culture, technology, and sustainability in one experience.

We love how something so rooted in tradition becomes part of an immersive, large-scale installation, proving that local materials still have endless possibilities when design chooses to look deeper.

Vẻ đẹp của công trình nổi trên hồ Bled nằm ở cách nó khéo léo ẩn mình vào bối cảnh. Với cấu trúc gỗ CLT, những lớp vỏ gỗ b**g nở như cánh hoa trên mặt nước, nằm tĩnh lặng giữa sương mờ, núi cao và mặt hồ phẳng lặng.

Ở đây, tính bền vững không phải là một "option" đính kèm, mà là ngôn ngữ kiến trúc xương sống. Bằng cách sử dụng vật liệu bản địa, hệ kết cấu nhẹ và phom dáng nương theo địa hình, công trình tựa như một phần hòa mình vào thiên nhiên.

The beauty of this floating pavilion on Lake Bled lies in how gently it belongs to its surroundings. Built with CLT timber, the wooden shells open like petals on the water, sitting quietly between the mist, the mountains, and the stillness of the lake.

Sustainability here is not treated as a separate feature, but as the language of the design itself. Through local material, a lightweight structure, and forms that follow the landscape, the architecture feels less like an intervention and more like a continuation of nature.

Sự đan xen giữa ánh sáng và bóng đổ chính là nguồn cảm hứng cho ngày hôm nay: một tác phẩm sắp đặt đầy sức sống được tạo nên từ 426 dải lưới phủ màu. Đây là ví dụ tuyệt vời cho thấy kiến trúc có thể 'đóng khung' bầu trời, mời gọi mọi người chiêm ngưỡng những không gian công cộng quen thuộc - nhưng dưới một góc nhìn hoàn toàn mới.

This play of light and shadow is today’s inspiration: a vibrant installation of 426 coated mesh fabric ribbons. It’s a beautiful example of how architecture can "frame" the sky and invite us to see familiar public spaces through a new lens.

Quầy thu ngân này sử dụng lại một cối xay đá trăm năm tuổi, cắt ra rồi ghép lại thành mặt bàn - một dải cong hình cánh quạt. "Dấu vết" thời gian, chất liệu thể hiện qua cối đá, được đặt vào ngay trung tâm không gian. Các lớp giấy washi thủ công sử dụng ở đèn và tường dán bổ sung cảm giác thô mộc, khuếch tán ánh sáng lan tỏa mềm mại và có chiều sâu. Chúng tôi rất thích cách thiết kế này, vì tự thân vật liệu đã có thể kể lại câu chuyện của thời gian.

This counter was cut from a century-old millstone and reassembled into a curved, fan-like form, bringing history right into the center of the space. Layered washi paper feels immediate and tactile, drawing us in through its soft diffusion of light and quiet depth. We love this design for the way it lets time speak through material.

Có những yếu tố vượt lên trên công năng để lưu giữ ký ức. Tại ga Wynyard, những bậc thang gỗ cũ của nhà ga được tái hiện qua tác phẩm "Interloop" - dải lụa treo lửng lơ, nối dài sự hiện diện của chúng trong một không gian mới. Một cử chỉ đơn giản, nhưng cho thấy kiến trúc có thể tiến tới tương lai mà không cần chối bỏ những giá trị thân thuộc.

Some elements carry more than function, they hold memory. The timber escalators at Wynyard Station are reimagined as "Interloop", a suspended ribbon that keeps their presence alive within a renewed space. A simple gesture, yet it shows how architecture can move forward without letting go of what made it familiar.

Vật liệu tự thân không mang tính thi ca, mà chính thiết kế mới là điều thổi hồn vào cho chúng. Quen thuộc như gạch nung, nhưng qua bàn tay của người thiết kế lại hấp dẫn thị giác rất riêng. Qua cách sắp xếp, bố trí xếp chéo, lớp chồng chồng lớp lên nhau một cách tỉ mỉ, những viên gạch dường như một lớp "da" phủ lên công trình, vừa thông thoáng vừa lọc ánh sáng, đồng thời giảm thiểu sự hấp thu nhiệt trong khí hậu nóng bức. Chúng tôi trân trọng là cách đơn vị thi công xây dựng trực tiếp với kỹ thuật truyền thống và tính địa phương để nâng cao hiệu năng, thay vì áp dụng các kỹ thuật hiện đại phổ quát.

Material itself does not carry poetry, it is the design that gives it life. A familiar material like brick is pushed further here through the way it is arranged rather than changed. Offset and layered with careful calculation, the bricks form a breathable skin that filters light, allows air to pass through, and helps reduce heat gain in a hot climate. What we value is how this builds directly on traditional craft, using pattern and placement to enhance performance instead of replacing it with new systems.
