Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all are enjoying this nice cool fall weather 🍂

I just finished up this piece for a returning customer's and I love the way it came out. If you remember from several weeks ago I did a piece that looks very similar. My customer wanted to take her dark wood furniture and give it new life with a white wash. I love how it turned out. Let me know what you think!

Kays Creations had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Ore Branch Designs, a small business rooted in Bloomfield, Indiana, to design, paint, and build a custom sign for all their pop-up events. Ore Branch Designs is known for their handmade artisan home goods, offering a wide range of beautifully crafted items. Their product line includes everything from fragrant squeeze wax melts, body wash, and soap bars to stunning wood creations such as cutting boards and custom-made trinket trays. Working with them was not only a great creative experience but also a chance to connect with another passionate local business dedicated to quality and craftsmanship. At Kay's Creations , we were thrilled to contribute to their brand’s presentation, knowing how much they value the personal touch in every piece they create.
Together, we showcased the heart and soul of small businesses in our community.

This Antique Secretary turned Charming Jewelry stand is truly a one of a kind creation.

When my customer asked if I would paint/white wash this Antique piece that had been in their family for over 50 years I was beyond excited. 🤩 Most people are opposed to painting wood especially if it's Antique but I think if it's done right it can turn into something that can stick with them for years to come.

Happy Sunday friends! If you saw my most recent post, I've been working on a vintage secretary. Hidden inside I discovered a utility bill from the 1940's. Don't you wish it was still that cheap?😉 The back has an Ad informing Americans about getting your daily dose of vitamins.How cool is that! 💊
