It is believed that from challenge comes change and change opens up to endless possibilities.

The construction industry is filled with challenges and possibilities. Whilst much is changed within this industry over the years, women still represent a smaller percentage and are given lesser responsibilities. However, this tide is turning. Let's take a moment to reflect on the important work women have been doing over the years in the field of Construction and Design and show them our support and utmost respect.

Let today be a day we begin to celebrate women the world over in the field of Construction, Architecture and Design every single day and challenge the status quo.

Women in Construction Week.
WIC Week is a week that is dedicated to the recognition and emphasis of the growing role of women in the industry by raising awareness and opportunities available to them.

A group of women founded the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) in 1953 to help create a support network for all the women in the industry.

With the WIC week ending, let’s continue to support the women that choose to undertake this as their career path by recognizing and acknowledging them, helping make a difference in what is perceived primarily as a male-dominated industry.
