We are making progress on this new piece! Definitely harder doing it on a bigger canvas😅 So far, the mixed media aspect is STRONG on this one. It has taken me about 4 weeks now to get it this far. There is still more to do! I'm noticing an underwater theme with this so hopefully you can tell too. I can't wait to see the finished product! Can you?

Here we have Charlotte, with her *COPPER* and *GOLD* accents! She turned out ✨️beautiful✨️😍 She was a little bit of a struggle, but I definitely took some pointers of what to do and what not to do in the future. She is my first finished piece like this, and I am pretty pleased with the results. I'm looking forward to making more like her!

A few weeks ago, I attempted to start a painting. My goal was to have a pour with the background still showing. Things don't always go according to plan😅 After multiple new techniques and mess ups, I was finally able to get it presentable. My point is, not everything is going to go according to plan the first try. However, if you keep at it, something great may come of it, and you'll know more for next time!🤗

Hi everyone! I have an announcement.

Originally, when I started painting using this technique, I was throwing myself into it full force as a way to deal with the grief of losing my dad. After I started to get better, I got a little burnt out on painting. However, I've started a new chapter in my life on remembering who I am as a person and getting in touch with myself again.

That being said, I ended my hiatus from painting on Sunday, and I am ready to bring new and beautiful art pieces to y'all.

Thank you so much for sticking through it with me, and I hope to see some of you at art fairs coming up at the end of the year!
