Re-imagined china cabinet top, turned modern display cabinet;

57" x 18" x 56"h.

Refinished in 2021. Painted in Oakham by Fusion. This unit has been wired as a touch light. By touching the top-right door hinge, the in-cabinet lights turn on, saving you from reaching for the plug.

Top and bottom shelf added using engineered hardwood flooring. New, hairpin legs for a modern flair.

*** Note.... you may notice the ding in the paint by the left door handle. It has since been repaired.

Solid oak, extra long dining table; It's big!!
104" x 36" x 30"h.

Table was refinished in 2021 with a custom (warm beige/grey) stain, sealed with several coats of wipe-on poly (satin finish). It has been freshly touched-up.

Base painted in Oakham by Fusion.
Seats 8 chairs easily. The chairs in photo are not included (and do not belong to this table). I have 8 chairs that belong to the set, but they have not been refinished. Chairs can be purchased separately if desired.

Asking $750 for the table.

After nearly 14 years, My Next Life has come to an end. It's bittersweet, as this business helped keep me busy when I struggled through the early years of being a SAHM. It gave me an outlet for my creativity, and helped me feel productive as I strived to find value in my position at home. I worked as I could, and as I needed to, and to have that freedom was truly one of the greatest gifts I've been given.

I met so many wonderful people, who encouraged me by allowing me into their homes, and allowing me to learn, practice, fix my mistakes, and improve with each project I took on.

Sadly, my hands, wrists, and knees just couldn't keep up with my passion, and the grip on my paint brush and power tools started to fail. Rheumatoid Arthritis sure has a way of humbling you just when you think you're stronger than ever.
I cut back my hours, and took on some smaller jobs while I worked towards finding a new balance. In the end, that's not a great way to run a business, and I decided to close up shop.

I'm loving my new job, and am thankful to be in a position where I can see, feel and experience design everyday, without the wear and tear on my poor ol' joints.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your love and support over the years!! My Next Life, will always be one of the best parts of my life.

A friend gave me this set, and it sat in my basement all winter, waiting for me to feel inspired. Just last week as I sat on my back deck couch, I realized...we need a coffee table.

This table popped into mind, as it's use was limited as a small dining set.
Hubby shortened the legs for me, as math/geometry is not my stong suit, and voila! A perfectly sized table for morning coffee or late night board games on the deck.

A bit of time and some imagination always proves worthwhile!

I'm thankful for helpful kids, who assisted in getting this set up. Man...this table is so heavy!!

Stunning, solid oak table and chairs, warmed up with a dark walnut/grey stain, and painted with Fusion, Coal Black.

Off to it's forever home where this heirloom piece will be newly loved.

This set made me work hard! My client had a vision, to update these into an MCM style set.
I removed the legs, reinforced the flimsy veneer at the base, and added these hairpin beauties. Paint, hardware and finishing details have made these dressers shine like new.

Yes!!! Finally feeling caught up, and ready to tackle more projects. This beauty is on her way home tonight.

Again, a lovely pair of chests that just don't fit in the same picture. Done exactly the same way, so use your imagination.
These family heirlooms went from orange and dark, to bright and warm with a base of Stirling, a wash of Oakham, and a dry brush of Lamp White, all by Fusion. They will be on their way back home tomorrow!
