I Cane Chairs I have been dealing with a cancer diagnosis for a couple of years now. I am now considered a "cancer survivor" although I am still healing from therapies.

Moving slowly, I am ready to service customers looking for someone to restore chairs. Hand and Pressed Cane, Wicker and Rattan Repair, Split Reed, Rush, Shaker Tape, and Danish Cord.

Fellow caners! I never learned how to dye cane. I was taught to use oil based stains which look shiny, unnatural. Can you tell me what you use to get new cane to match old cane? (All I can find online is hyper expensive, hyper toxic powders....) Thanks for your help.

Third attempt on these seats!!! I was having trouble with the radio weave lining up. And tge scoops in the side made it tough to keep the spline in. Today, I did it and stayed nearby to keep forcing the spline back in.... Monday, I'll do the back splines.... they had their own issues before!
