A variety of herbaceous plants, trees and shrubs is available. The nursery is a home based business that sells directly to consumers, eliminating middlemen and keeping prices reasonable. The business owner has grown

all species offered for sale in her home garden and is knowledgable regarding each species habitat requirements. Customers can discuss their gardening situation and get the best plants for their situation.

LAST NATIVE PLANT SALE OF SPRING
Flora for Fauna Native Plant Nursery in Woodbine NJ is holding its last native plant sale until August Friday and Saturday, June 12th and 13th.

Flora for Fauna specialized in growing species native to southern NJ and Pennsylvania. All plants are grown on the premises and most are from local genotypes. The species offered are grown in our gardens and we know the conditions needed for them to thrive. We are happy to help our customers find the best plants for their gardens.

Hi Everybody - just wanted to let you know that the 2 frosts we had on Monday and Tuesday nights burned the leaves of some species of plant. All the plants will resprout new leaves but the plants don’t look so great right now. Any questions about particular species, shoot me a message.

Happy Spring Everyone - we are getting a late start at the nursery this spring, due to spending the month of March in Oregon to welcome our first grandchild. We left with a foot of snow on the ground and came back to the downed trees that most of you spent the month cleaning up (I'm guessing).

I have set the dates for the first 2 sale events of the 2026 season:

-Thursday through Saturday, April 23 - 25.
-Thursday through Saturday, May 7 - 9
The time for all sale days will be 9 am to 3 pm.

I will be revising my plant availability lists over the next weeks as species break dormancy.
