Borehole Testing in Fauresmith District. Pumping 42 000LPH during calibration

Borehole Testing in Faurismith District this week. Have 7 production boreholes to test. Client is looking to irrigate 25ha under pivot. Will be testing multiple holes at the same time.

The team had a challenging task today in Postmasburg Northern Cape. A Production Borehole supplying water to the town caved in due to Blasting taking place close by and then another contractor dropped a hammer down the hole which had to first be removed. The client was also relieved that we did not have to remove the safety cage to access the borehole. The Borehole was successfully rehabilitated to its original depth of 98m. The Next step will be the installation of PVC slotted casings.
