This morning's harvest of fresh herbs to make more 'First Aid In A Jar'. The last batch sold out as I was attaching Granny G's hand made labels to the ointment jars.
Each batch contains just the right mix of fresh and dried herbs grown naturally and harvested consciously for maximum potency. The adventure up to the silvermine mountain for indigenous micro-organisms to propagate and multiply is showing rewards. Determined to investigate my closest source to home of the wild, up I went. Through all that port jackson, steep climbs to pockets of surviving fynbos and little caches of dry leaves in crevices. Though there is little evidence of leaf mould to the naked eye, it's there! Here, look, it's going to be perfect on Saturday for the workshop.
