No-one really shows you what happens if you don't use stakes, or cages, or support your tomatoes in some way.

Largw tomatoes make the plants too heavy and they fall over, making them stem split.

Urban Gardening Tip of the Week:
πŸ’‘ Use kitchen scraps to grow new plants!

Save scraps like green onion roots, garlic cloves, or lettuce bottoms and regrow them in a small jar of water on your windowsill. Once they sprout, transfer them to a container with soil.

And if only the leaves grow, fed them to your rabbits, guinea pigs, and so on, or donate them to a local animal sanctuary.

Green peppers thrive when planted alongside carrots, cucumbers, or onions, as these companions deter pests and improve the microenvironment. Don't plant them too close to fennel or kohlrabi, which can inhibit their growth.
