Entrance to a townhouse garden on either side of driveway into garage completed last week. Treated sandy, soapy soil to make it absorb water. Edged beds to prevent runoff. Simple uniform planting for easy maintenance and to soften a high wall and finished off with pebble for ground cover. Repaired existing irrigation system that has not been running for a long time. Clients very happy with how brief was achieved.

A magnificent undisturbed beehive we found inside the wall of a Camps Bay garden today. The bees were calm and peaceful going about their business with intent and we left them to it observing from a distance for the longest time. Made me feel really grateful to work with Mother Nature every day ☺️

Kommetjie beach house.
The brief was to stop the blowing sand as inexpensively as possible.
We made the garden beds bigger and meandering instead of boring straight lines demarcated with gum poles, we transplanted all suitable existing plants where new lawn would be laid into the garden beds, prepared for laying of lawn by incorporating loads of compost into the sandy soil and laid new lawn.
Paving slabs were used to create a pathway through the lawn to add interest. The pathway leads to the beach gate on the other side of house and will be well used.
Client was extremely happy with the changes.

When your garden needs a lift and pets are causing a few little problems, large pebble as ground cover could be a solution.
Pebbles make plants pop and stops the hound dogs running tracks and digging holes in most instances.
