Strong contrast and thoughtful layering define this kitchen.

The dark sprayed slim shaker island anchors the space beautifully, offset against crisp quartz stone for a clean, contemporary balance. In the background, a warm oak display unit introduces texture and depth — featuring Vogue Doors glass doors, a stained and sealed veneer carcass, and 50mm floating oak veneer shelves that bring softness to the darker elements.

Sometimes it’s the smallest detail that makes the biggest impact.

For these spare bedroom wardrobes, the client wanted something sleek and understated. We kept the doors clean and minimal with a flat white finish, but introduced a full-height black finger-grip profile handle running from floor to ceiling.

That single design decision completely shifts the look. The black detailing adds definition, creates subtle drama, and ties in beautifully with the black tile accents in the adjoining ensuite.

A reminder that handle selection isn’t just functional, it can transform the entire feel of your cabinetry.

This kitchen was designed to feel as good to use as it does to look at. With shaker cabinetry finished in Southside Moss and warm solid oak worktops, the space feels grounded, inviting, and made for everyday living.

A glass-fronted unit with black framing introduces contrast and ties in neatly with the client’s black appliances and light fittings, helping the details feel connected throughout the room. Thoughtful storage solutions and a custom brass cooker hood cover complete the picture, adding both function and character.
