Do you need to do a COC for your WHOLE PROPERTY after some minor electrical changes have been made?

No, there is no need. You will, however need to give the electrician the initial certificate number and the date it was issued, so that he can give you a supplementary COC to the original COC for the extra work done.

Before excepting any quote given, make sure he is registered with the department of Labour and that his registration is up to date. If he can not produce this evidence then illegal work will be performed that can nullify your existing COC.

Attached see a sample of the regestration document.
