I made this frame because I thought it was sad yet beautiful. I still have it all these months later and it is so haunting now with all the people taken away too soon due to Covid-19.

This was a gift given to my daughters Grade R teacher. They only shared one year together but she made such an impact on my child's life and allowed her to become independent in a firm but gentle guiding way. Forever grateful to the wonderful teachers my daughter has had in her life.

I love giving gifts. The look on someone's face when they open a present that was specifically chosen for them based on their likes and loves is everything I live for!

This was a very time consuming project. From the cutting process (I thought my machine would never stop!) to the weeding process, it took a good 3hours work besides the process of cutting the canvas and staining the wood.

This beautiful lady was sold this past week and will be sent to her new owner on Thursday.

Can't wait for my little guy to be a bit older so I can craft again.

I haven't actually shared these on the Dekel Designs timeline because the ones I've made have all gone to people I know, family, friends and a teacher.

This product is a bit pricey due to labour and materials but oh so worth the end result. Will be sharing pics soon.
