So I get a call from a client today telling me that he has water pouring out of his ceiling. I tell him no problem and let him know that I could be there within the hour. He sends me his address, which was at the back end of Durbanville, off the beaten track. On my way to him he calls and asks me if I don’t mind buying him data for his wife as it will save him a trip coming in to the shops. I get him 3x R275 Vodacom data vouchers at his request. I send him the the codes and head off to meet him at his house. Not knowing the area very well and just checking in with him to see if I’m on the right track, he tells me I’m about 2km’s away and that he will see me soon.....No sign of him or the address, I reckon somethings up. I give him a call......no answer! Another call and nothing. Geez, I was so pi**ed off with myself! I should have known better. The chop took me for ride. Watch out people, don’t be as naive as I was.
