Over the past few years, I've had the usual aggravating list of small to medium house repairs to attend to. The jobs are usually of the size or complexity that the bigger companies are not interested and/or charge an over the top fee to cover their higher operating costs.
I've tried the guys that gather on various corners looking for "piece" jobs. This is also a hit or miss affair, suddenly there are 25 tilers on the corner. I've found a few gems but also plenty of coal. I won't go into the fly-by-night operators, we've all read the horror stories.
Slowly but surely, I've put together a list of handymen who can cover the wide variety of domestic jobs. At the right price and with a competent work ethic. I now get calls from friends who are less than hands on (I won't mention names) looking for a reliable ( ), you fill in the blank.
Most of these service providers are one man bands, with little or no online, or otherwise, marketing skills, so I thought to start this page to save homeowners the hassle I've been through. And to provide those handymen a place to find regular work in these tough times.
I, or one of our A-list providers, will come out and quote on the job. We will assist in acquiring the materials needed with no hidden charges. We will then check the completed job ( known as snagging) and arrange payment or balance of deposit depending on the quoted arrangement.
The aim is to create a win-win situation all round.

BTW, in case you were wondering, I've no idea whose scooter that is.
