Replica Firearm Found - Yellowwood Park

At approx. 08h30, while conduction visibile patrols and observations in known hotspots, our response members came across a replica firearm.

At this point in time there was alot of movement along the railway lines and surrounding areas so this firearm may have been dropped in haste or disposed off upon seeing the response vehicles.

We urge all residents to take caution when approaching "paras" and instead contact your security company and local authorities as a situation may escalate rapidly.

Suspect Arrested - Infrastructure Theft, Montclair

At approx. 12h15, on the 26/02/2026, a member of our response team received a call for assistance regarding infrastructure theft on the corner of Kenyon Howden and Wingate Road.

On arrival, the suspect was observed by response members exiting the man hole with tools, one of them being a jigsaw.

When the suspect noticed our team members, he fled towards Halifax Road.

Our Tactical Members coordinated back up with other Response Members resulting in the suspect's apphrension on Halifax Road.
When detained, drugs and paraphernalia were found in his possession as well as cable and other implements.

SAPS was dispatched and the suspect was taken back to the scene of the crime.

Suspects was handed over to SAPS for further investigation.

At approx 02:00 this morning, information of a stolen Big Boy Motorcycle that had been stolen from the Montclair area was received.

The motorcycle was stolen from a complex sometime between 9pm last night and 2am this morning.

The motorcycle was recovered at the last location on Bulbul Drive near Silverglen. It was located hidden away in the bush and covered with tree branches. The motorcycle was transported and booked into Montclair SAP13 where the client opened the case.

The suspects gained access to the complex over N2 freeway and pushed the bike through the back of the property while the security officer for the complex was on patrol.

Fatal Shooting - Montclair

At approx. 14h45, our control room received a distress call for assistance regarding a shooting that had taken place on Montclair Road involving high caliber weapons.

Our tactical members were immediately dispatched, arriving on scene, they found one victim in critical condition awaiting ambo in a bullet ridden blue BMW.

SAPS was on scene, and further info was relayed detailing suspects and vehicle used, which led to a second scene along South Coast Road, where it's reported that suspects abandoned the vehicle used in the commission of the crime and fled on foot into a nearby warehouse. A search was conducted of the warehouse by SAPS, assisted by our members to no avail.

The case is being investigated by SAPS, and anyone with leads is encouraged to come forward

Vehicle Theft Suspects Apprehended - Montclair

At approx. 11h20, 09/07/2025, responding to a call for assistance from our vigilant security officer, tactical members were dispatched and apprehended 2 suspects wanted in connection for multiple vehicle thefts as they were fleeing from a scene, in coordination with Tracker SA, Fidelity SIU, Pro Secure, and YT Security Services.

The suspects were found residing at a B&B in Montclair area, where they were found to be in possession of multiple vehicle theft implements, including a jammer and other specialized equipment. All items were handed over to SAPS for further investigation.
