This old turn table was beyond operational repair so a while back i did new restoration and i made a great gift to someone.
Just a thought to not aways scrap pieces with character. Bring them over and i will retro the heck out of it.
Also any old stuff you are throwing away, the i could sell, please call me as i give parttime work to some.of the guys at the homeless shelter and they sand and i paint and i look after the2n as best i can.

My DIY tip for the week!
Floating shelves look great but to really make that WOW factor pop and enhance any substrate below, do what I did in my kitchen and it's really so easy. You will need the following;
1. 12v current converter
2. LED strip lights
3. Twin flex cable
4. Silicone to glue the LED's
5. PVC conduit for outside to hide the cables rather than have trunking exposed inside the kitchen.

I have these beautiful 1.8m high x4 posts from a house that was gutted. They are solid mahogany. I am looking for a commision to build a bed out of them for a serious one off piece that is gaureented to never rattle or keep the neighbors up.
If you would like me to build this for you. Please give me a call. 0815022359. I have such a vision for this with high posts at the back and slightly shorter at the base. I would love to lime wash the wood and maybe have some bent steel between the posts.
So give me shout if you interested for a piece that you can hand down for generations.

This custom entrance hall table was made for Sarah Slater from a Victorian headboard i bent for the base and i tried a new way to secure the hardwood top using twine and cross stiching. The mirror was also techniqued by me from a high gloss red hue toned right down to a matt finish with elements of beige, gold, chocolate and copper.

Hybrid tripod lamp custom made for client, there are so many unique parts to this peice but in a nutshell its a diving camera housing coverted to energy saving lamp with a tricky bit of backyard engineering for the stand which is an old painting easel with a whole bunch of retro bling.
