THE NECESSARY EVIL CALLED MAINTENANCE
Maintenance and Repairs to households are in many instances seen as an unnecessary evil which is the biggest misperception house owners have. In hindsight its actually the other way around in that if Maintenance are not done when required and if more problems surface and are also neglected you soon find yourself in firefighting mode. At this stage people have not budgeted for the repair cost and soon starts getting quick fixes which are normally associated with cheap labour, unskilled workmanship, inferior replacement parts etc.
We all know the feeling when despite you having paid someone to do the fix your problem you have to get someone else to come fix the first persons poor workmanship. Some people repeat the same mistakes over and over because they don't want to pay for reputable services.
Your property is arguably your most important and best investment you have made and should get the required attention in respect to your investment.
Property at least has the best return on investment. You are guaranteed with financial growth but financial growth is dependent on how you keep and maintain your assest.
