Miracle Fibre Stain proof Carpets
Most yarns are dyed towards the end of the manufacturing process. The pigment in the Miracle Fibre yarn is baked in at the point of extrusion, making Miracle fibre carpets perfectly suited to enduring our harsh local climate.
Fadeproof & Rainproof
The inclusion of UV stabilisers developed specifically for our harsh African sun makes the carpets fade-resistant. The Miracle Fibre yarn also does not absorb water, which prevents it from clinging to dust, ensuring the carpets are easy to clean and maintain.
Stainproof
Miracle Fibre has excellent chemical resistance properties which protects carpets from strains. Miracle fibre carpets can even be cleaned with bleach and acetone without damaging the fibres. However we do not recommend that the end user do this themselves but contact the installer.
The dust resistance and easy-cleaning properties means Miracle carpets are hygienic, allergy-friendly products.
Needlepunch Commercial Carpets available in tiles and broadloom
Needle punching is a method that involves using loose fibres and needling them together.
This is achieved using a needle loom with barbed needles, ensuring fibrescan push through and get entangled. In other words, carpets are exceptionally robust and hard wearing, Needlepunch carpets are tough on traffic. The Needlepunch carpets are available in plainback and in Bitumen backing.
Different types of carpets
Polypropylene - Like nylon or polyester, polypropylene is ultimately made from petroleum. Unlike other man-made fibres, polypropylene yarn has a semi-crystalline structure which does not absorb moisture at all: this makes polypropylene carpet water-resistant and quick-drying when washed, as well as exceptionally stain-resistant.
Polyester - Polyester carpet is a man-made fiber that was introduced in the 1960s. Like nylon, polyester is made of plastic polymers. It's known for its soft feel, vibrant colors, and stain resistance. Polyester carpet is often used in bedrooms and family rooms where people want a softer feel underfoot.
Nylon - Nylon is a synthetic carpet fiber made up of polymers which are strong and durable. Nylon carpet is known for its resilience – it's resistant to crushing, matting, and staining. It's also easy to clean and maintain.
