EQ tips.
To make each instrument sit well in your mix you need to carve out a place for it. Do that with an EQ. When your instruments aren't fighting with each other, everything will sound much bigger, more constant and cleaner.

An amplifier's current supply capability is a crucial factor in determining its stability. A good criterion for assessing current capacity is the amplifier's output power into 2 Ohms, which should not be less than the value into 4 Ohms.

What are GOBO's??

A gobo is a template — made of glass or steel — that is inserted into a lighting fixture to obtain a projected image

Steel
Artwork is cut out of the steel, allowing light to pass through. This results in artwork projecting onto a surface. Steel gobos do not allow for color to be built into the gobo itself, though a color filter may attached to the lighting fixture.

Glass
advantages to glass gobos is that color can be etched into the gobo itself, allowing accuracy with logos and eliminating the need for applying a color filter to the light fixture. Glass gobos do run the risk of cracking or breaking if dropped and they are more of an investment to purchase than the steel variety.

UHF & VHF Wireless Spectrum: What’s the Difference?

“UHF” (Ultra High Frequency) and “VHF” (Very High Frequency” have different names because they operate in different bands of the FM spectrum.
UHF wireless sytems operate in the 470 mHz to 698 mHz bands. The so-called 700 mHz band – between 698 and 806 mHz – is off-limits due to recent FCC regulations.
Although some digital wireless systems use frequencies between 902 and 928 mHz, the crowding of this range by household wireless devices make it a poor choice for analog wireless mics.
The VHF band spans 150 – 216 mHz.

A passive crossover is one that uses a circuit of resistors, usually capacitors or inductors or both, that either stop certain frequencies from going to the drivers or allow them to go to the drivers. Passive crossovers are the most common type of crossover.

The crossover is responsible for sending bass information to the woofer, mid-range information to the mid-range, and treble to the tweeter.
