Spot Watch Security - Germiston & Boksburg

Spot Watch Security - Germiston & Boksburg Thirty two years have elapsed, and everyone has grown older - in fact much older – and Gert employed skilled personnel to assist him with key operations.

Spot Watch Security was established 32 years ago by the owner Gert Jansen van Vuuren with the sole aim to provide security to the people of Dinwiddie, Verwoerdpark, Lambton and adjacent areas. Gert grew up in the area and after establishing SWS he himself led the team of Reaction officers and over the years the technical side as well as Guarding divisions developed. He remains hands on until this

very day and is available to see clients and prospective clients whenever required to do so as SWS is still his main priority. He is actively involved with the local CPFs and SAPS and is playing an important role in setting up the surveillance cameras in the area.

In what can only be described as a bold career move into the waste management sector, a suspect decided that our client’s dustbin was simply too good to pass up.

Unfortunately for him, the client was not in a charitable mood and immediately pressed the panic while keeping a close eye on the would-be “bin collector.”

Enter Tactical Units TD and TR, who clearly did not receive the memo that it was “Take What You Want Thursday.” They swiftly caught up with the suspect and shut down the operation before it could be upgraded to a full recycling business.

The suspect was promptly escorted to Germiston SAPS, where he can now reflect on his life choices — specifically, how a dustbin was not worth the trip.

Successful arrest made. Case opened.

Props to our alert client and our ever-reliable Tactical Units for keeping Wadeville clean — one suspect at a time.

When the control room received a panic, there was no time for debates, delays, or dramatic music — SWS Tactical Units TD and TV were dispatched immediately.

In less than a minute (yes, less than a minute), our Tactical team arrived on scene and caught the suspect mid-mission, attempting to “borrow” our client’s security beams… without permission, paperwork, or common sense.

The suspect was promptly upgraded from “freelancer” to “detainee” and safely escorted to SAPS for further processing.

The client opened a case, the beams stayed where they belong, and once again our community and Tactical units proved that crime has very short working hours in Lambton.

Big shoutout to our control room, Tactical Units TD & TV, and our alert client for keeping the area safe — one panic button at a time! 💪
