Kitchen and Bathroom wastes in Palm Beach. The soakaway was old and blocked, so rather than resolve the issue, the previous handyman just rerouted a few pipes. This only partially solved the problem. We dig a completely new soakaway!, lined it with bidim so that it would lay a long time, and modified the waste pipes so that they no longer leaked, all ram into the same grease trap, and looked much neater.

New Kitchen Sink Counter in Kingsburgh

Client had old rotting countertops and surface mount plumbing running everywhere which looked ugly and wasted a large amount of space. The sink mixer came out of the wall off centre to the sink which meant the prep bowl could not be used.

We repiped the waste and water supply outside so that the sink and appliances could be repositioned closer to the wall, and installed a custom made counter from reclaimed Baltic pine, and installed a deck mount sink mixer

Subsoil Agricultural Drain in Shulton Park

The Problem- the client had a muddy boggy area on his lawn behind his kitchen door. This caused dirt to be tracked into his house and was unpleasant when he had a braai or engaged in other outdoor activities

The Solution- excavate and install an agricultural drain to drain the soil and divert the water to the garden at the the bottom of his property. Encase the pipe in concrete where it runs under the driveway

Repair to a toilet at a residence near Amanzimtoti High

The client complained that rats were continually eating her drain behind the toilet. We were able to determine that
- The rats were eating a flexible concertina type pan connector- these are very useful but not recommended by South African Standards. Because if the corrugations, debris(poo) collects on the inside. This is what the rats were after
‐ There was a leak on the pan connector that had been temporally repaired with duct tape
- The drain was not secured properly- it was propped up with loose bricks

We were able to resolve all the issues within an hour with a few readily available fittings from the local hardware
