Gladiator Security Services Operations Unit, working closely with Scottburgh SAPS Detectives, successfully apprehended a wanted housebreaking suspect after a lengthy investigation supported by ongoing intelligence gathering.
Through coordinated efforts and information followed up by both teams, the suspect was traced to a property in the Malangeni area. A well‑executed joint operation was conducted, leading to the safe and successful arrest of the suspect without any complications.

The individual is now linked to multiple housebreaking cases targeting homes in the Scottburgh Central area — a significant breakthrough in protecting our community.

During a routine patrol on Barrow Street, our Gladiator Response Team identified a suspicious vehicle — a white Toyota Starlet. When Umkomaas SAPS attempted to question the driver, the suspect fled the scene.
Our Response Team immediately activated pursuit protocols and successfully apprehended the suspect, ensuring no further threat to our clients or the community. The individual — known for multiple break‑ins in the Umkomaas area — was handed over to Umkomaas SAPS Investigating Officers for further action.

Our Gladiator Response Team was dispatched to a business premises in Umzinto following an alarm activation. On arrival, officers found the front glass door shattered, confirming a break‑in in progress.

Suspecting the suspect was still inside, Umzinto SAPS was contacted immediately and arrived swiftly. During the joint search, a suspect attempted to flee through the back door but was chased down and successfully apprehended through excellent teamwork between Gladiator Response and SAPS.

🚨 ARREST FOR POSSESSION OF SUSPECTED STOLEN PROPERTY 🚨

At approximately 22:10 on 14 May 2026, during a routine patrol, our Gladiator Security Farm Watch Unit observed an individual carrying a television under suspicious circumstances.

Further investigation revealed that the TV had been stolen from Renishaw.
Scottburgh SAPS was immediately contacted, and the suspect — along with the suspected stolen property — was handed over to SAPS members for further investigation.

A big thank‑you to Scottburgh SAPS for their swift response and continued partnership in keeping our community safe.

🚨 STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED IN PARK RYNIE 🚨
On 14 May 2026, at approximately 02:30, our Gladiator Control Room spotted a vehicle driving erratically on CCTV, moving from Alkins Drive in Park Rynie towards the R612, Umzinto.

Swift action was taken:
1️⃣ Park Rynie Response Unit was dispatched and confirmed the vehicle was stolen from a nearby property.
2️⃣ A BOLO (Be On the Lookout) was immediately issued.
3️⃣ The vehicle was spotted traveling northbound towards Umgababa.
4️⃣ Umkomaas Response Unit & Supervisor Units successfully intercepted and recovered the vehicle shortly after!

While no suspects were apprehended, the vehicle was secured.
SAPS and Tracker were on the scene, and the vehicle has been handed over for further investigation.
🚔Excellent work by the team in ensuring a swift recovery! 💪
