I like mixing pest-repelling plants into the garden because even small changes can help tip things in your favor 🌼
🌿 Basil, mint, and rosemary are some of my favorite plants to tuck near beds and pots
🧄 Garlic is one I always think is worth growing for more than one reason
🧡 Marigolds and nasturtiums add color and can be useful too
🐝 I still try to keep balance in mind, because not every bug in the garden is a bad one
For me, prevention always works better than waiting for a big pest problem.

Who wants to plant a Special tree?

Dont search. I have found these ones in my Nursery at the Road Stall. Only a few found.

Apodytes dimidiata SA Tree No: 422SA Tree No: 308
Common names: white pear, bird's eye (Eng.); witpeer (Afr.);

Apodytes dimidiata is the ideal tree for the home garden as it does not have messy fruits and is safe to plant near the house, not disturbing the foundations or paved areas.

Pseudolachnostylis maprouneifolia SA Tree No: 308
Common names: kudu berry ( Eng. ); koedoebessie (Afr.);

Pseudolachnostylis maprouneifolia is the only species in this genus. It occurs only on the African continent.
Pseudolachnostylis maprouneifolia is an attractive, round, single-stemmed tree, up to 12 m high. The bark is greyish to dark brown.

Common names: pepper-bark tree (Eng.); peperbasboom (Afr.);

This tree is a priority species for conservation and cultivation in gardens, as it is over-harvested in the wild for medicinal use and is a very popular item for sale at street markets.
This is an evergreen, slender tree that grows from 5 to 10 m tall. The dark green, glossy leaves are paler green below with entire margins
