ELECTRICIAN VACANCY

Location: Jeffreysbay

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. As an essential part of our maintenance and installations crew, the Electrician will be responsible manage a team, ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and ensure compliance with codes.
• Diagnose electrical problems using various testing devices.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively on job requirements and progress.
• Manage a team of general laborers and semi-skilled electricians to execute projects.
• Solar, building services and infrastructure installations.
• Travel to sites to attend to faults and to perform repairs.

Requirements:

• Valid electrician’s license/certification (required).
• 2- 5 years Proven experience post qualification as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety codes and regulations.
• Proficient with electrical tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
