Something we don’t see everyday in SA are tulips.
The variety of colors on display at the Chelsea
plant show was amazing.

Tulips are my absolute favourite flower, and all
these colours just made my heart skip six beats.

Chelsea Flower show PT. 6
This time it’s orchids. Fronds I am amazed at the
insane amount of sub species of orchids there are,
and can you believe the intricacy of some of these
flowers?

I take my hat off to people who are able to grow
orchids and get them to re flower. I struggle with
them and really hope that one day I’ll be able to
grow these intimidating plants.

Where are all of the begonia fans at?
We saw so many beautiful and MASSIVE begonias
at the Chelsea flower show. These were made for
sale after the show, at £65 a plant. (That’s about R1400, aren’t we lucky we can get these for much cheaper in SA?)

Fronds can you believe this Protea display at the
Chelsea Flower show?
This is INSANE! It also brought us a feeling of great
pride because South Africa’s own won a gold prize
for this gorgeous display.

Chelsea Flower show PT. 2
We found some more familiar beauts that we all
know and love back in SA.
I didn’t think we should see many tropical aroids at
the show, and was pleasantly surprised when we
came across these stunners.

called UK journals sharing some of the plants I can find in the UK.

These are some insane Sarracenia we saw at the
Chelsea Flower show.
I completely fell in love with them and a bug
might’ve bitten 🤫

The growing stages of these leaves are
STUNNING! From this bright redish orange, to a
stunning rounded leaf with thin white veins. The
KOS is absolutely stunning.

Which philodendron in your collection do you have
a love hate relationship with? We love philodendron
verrucosum for its beautiful foliage, but we hate it
for being such a pest magnet.
