If EFF survives this exodus then it may emerge as a strong political body. However, I seriously doubt that will happen, it has been dying a slow death for a few years now, this is just a final nail in it's political coffin. It was becoming more and more irrelevant to many young people as it seemed to be stuck on a single approach to every situation.

I don't expect anyone who has an NQF level 6 and above to post a statement or advisory words that they took from someone else's post or intellectual work (book, spoken speach, publication etc.) Without mentioning the author/speaker's name after that statement or starting it with "according to..."
If you do then you know you are considered an intellectual thief/ thug!

Without rules, we are nothing but a lost society!

I've been observing with a small disappointment in our Film and Drama series space.
Most South African Dramas and Films are a copy and paste of the Americans and Europeans. There's very little creativity in the story lines and ex*****on thereof.
One would even think, they just replay old American movies and claim the ideas as theirs.
You can watch 10+ Drama series and movies and the storyline is exactly the same, same themes, same actors.
If we arw to compete on an international level we have to be authentic and be creative with our arts.
Just my 2 cents worth.

The best artists are spiritual beings. They translate what they see and feel from the spiritual realm into their art, hence it's unique and out of the ordinary.

Generally South Africans are very kind people to visitors including those from foreign countries. However, even the most kind people can turn to be hateful when they are constantly being taken advantage of, subjected to unfair treatment and when that happens often, as human beings we tend to generalise that it is the specific ethnic group.

Our media and some celebrities tend to under diagnose social issues and are quick to coin terms such as xenophobia, Afrophobia etc.

Nigerian drug dealers were able to infiltrate our communities and Cities because they were welcomed in the country.
Somalian and Parkistan Shops were able to thrive in our communities and kill our local businesses because they were welcomed and supported by our communities.
The British were able to settle and make fortunes from our natural resources because they were welcomed into our land.

So to loosely call South Africans Xenophobic and all sorts off names when they express displeasure in something is purely being insensitive to the South Africans that have alwas opened and shared their land and homes with visitors from all over the World.

Even the most kind person can become aggressive when taken advantage of constantly, if we understand this the a lot of things will start to make sense.

This month I dedicate to my little brother, my brother in academics and spirituality. I am sooo excited of his achievements, he is so young but wears many big belts on his shoulders. He defines excellence is all it's meanings and angles.
Congratulations on your achievements, the World will have great leaders because of you and your endless efforts to educate and instill good practices.
Today I am proud to call you Dr Seseni (Phd).
To reach doctoral heights before the age of 35 is no small matter, and you continue to show that with hardwork, dedication and faith, everything is possible.

I am impressed with how the ANC leaders have handled the loss from these elections. Very professional and progressive 👏

Election thought:
So on Saturday I visited my nearest Builderssa in the south of Joburg to buy a folding bathroom door. So I get the, take my item to the till as per norm. Now as I am waiting, I see the cashier serving this nice Caucasian (white) lady. The excellent cashier says to the quiet white lady as she hands her the receipt: thank you ma'am enjoy your day!
Wow! Great service, I say to myself.
Now the guy before me gets his call-up to approach the till. He, an African (Black) male goes to the till, pays and the cashier says to him sharp as she quickly calls NEXT PLEASE!
The next please is referring to me, another black male. I get to the till and say hi, and she responds with a hi, card or cash... Card! I replied, she scans my item, I tap the card and she hands me the receipt and looks away.
No thanks, no sharp I wondered to myself as I walked out.

Now today I return to the store to get another household item. Before me is an old black lady going to pay at the same till. She gets there pays and gets handed to receipt in silence, no thanks, no have a nice day ma'am. Now it's my turn again, same lady; I pay and get a receipt, off I go.

As I walk off, I see this gentleman who works at Builders, I approached him and asked for a supervisor. Luckily, he tells me he's the supervisor, how can I assist you he asked... I told him my experience at the shop and suggested to him that they consider giving coaching to the staff member as this did not look good.

I will see if there's any change the next time I visit Builders South Gate.

This scenario is a perfect example of where we are as a nation. We still have a very long way to be freed of these chains of mental slavery.

Election Thoughts from your qualified Political Scientist:

Was Zuma a good leader?

In my view, Jacob Zuma has never been a good leader. Contrary to popular belief that he was pro black. No he wasn't pro-black, he was pro-indian and we almost became colonies of india through his association to the powerful Guptas.

Yes he was charismatic and very strategic, hence he outsmarted Thabo Mbeki in 2008 and changed for the worst the landscape of politics and overall trajectory of our beautiful nation.

We should not confuse charisma and popularity with good leadership. Zuma was everything but a good leader.

People seem to have political amnesia when it comes to political leaders. I often hear utterances like Zuma ended loadshedding and he was for the people. I differ with that view. In fact as a young black person, I saw a decline in the value of the black person especially the academically successful. An error of mediocrity began to emerge wherein, your qualifications meant nothing because mainly the Politically connected were guaranteed a seat at the table. Zuma never ended loadshedding, it actually began to be worse under his leadership. I remember in 2013 ir was the worst, many businesses struggled as electricity would go off for many hours.

There's other utterances such as the price of petrol being lower under Zuma. In fact in 2006 and early 2010 petrol was under R10 a litre and it has since gotten worse and worse. I am not saying that increases in petrol are an indication of good or bad leadership, I'm simply addressing the misconceptions.

There are many aspects of his leadership that for me really devalued our country and the quality of life for the citizens and any leader or organization that takes over will have a very difficult task of rebuilding and restoration to normalcy
