So, a few weeks ago I posted a couple of videos showing the shocking state of an huge percentage of the goods donated to the Hospice Wits shop.
I agreed with the comments saying it's not usually like this, maybe they were overwhelmed with donations etc and agreed to go back at a later date to do a follow up.
Today was that date and, well, it seems to me that the general culture of the staff at the shop is of complete lack of interest, and by extension, the Hospice board/management.
The complete lack of respect and gratitude for the donations received is still evident as can be seen from these photos.

Hi All! I have a dream!! LOL couldn't resist!
I am starting a directory of local (Orange Grove and surrounding suburbs) small businesses and people who offer services (food, sewing, handyman, plumbing, gardening etc) so that they can feed their families in these very dark and scary times.
We can start with 2 or 3 services and work from there so ...

Please can anyone who does the following respond to this post with your email address or WhatsApp number and what you do.
1. Sewing and darning
2. Home cooked food for us to buy
3. Painting (home improvement)

I am very passionate about supporting local and small business and I am very excited by the potential a directory like this has to improve the lives of my (and your) neighbours.

Stumbled on this dairy this week and will be visiting as soon as we are able! Apparently donkey milk is much closer to human milk than cow juice. The Jolly Green Man is always up for a new experience!

This little hidden gem is absolutely worth supporting. Raoul and the team have come up with a winning combination of fantastic food and great service. The roast chicken is probably the best I have ever had from a 'chicken joint' and they have some interesting sides - their version of chips is their potato crunches - cooked baby potatoes that are squashed, fried and spiced - yummy! and their crispy pap squares are the most favourful we've had in a long time!
