Minumun level of education:
- National Diploma/B-Tech or Higher in Quantity Surveying.
- Years of experience: 2/3 years civil and construction industry.
- Previous employment references.
- Own cellphone.
- Own transport (offices are in Roodepoort.)
- Driver's license
- Fluent in English & other African languages.
- Availability for travel

Lethabo Afrika Construction are looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Commercial Team based in our Head Office in Roodepoort.

We're looking for a neat, punctual, meticulous and hard-working individual with the intent of learning and growing within the industry to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have 2/3 years experience in the civil and construction sector. They should have experience in tendering, tender documents, procedures and pricing.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent numeracy skills, good organisational skills, strong communication skills and IT literate.

The Junior Quantity Surveyor will undertake the following:
• Supporting senior members of the team in the day-to-day management and delivery of projects
• Preparation of tender submissions
· Estimating for tendering purposes
• Project Administration
Co-ordinating of all production activities (labour, material ordering, handling, scheduling. Assisting with the ex*****on of the project)
• Measurement
• Procurements of Sub-Contractors
• Assisting with Sub-Contractors accounts
· Compiling of labour costs for inclusion in the monthly report
· Monitoring Progress of Projects
· Site valuations
· Monthly claims
· On site re-measurements
· Compiling Project Reports
· Site Administration

We are looking for the right candidate to work in a fast paced yet fun environment and contribute to the company’s growth and success as you continually develop your own skills and experience within a supportive team.

3 month probation period and permanent contract if competent. Salary is negotiable.
