Nesting/ stacking tables are beautiful versatile pieces of furniture that can be used as small drink tables when entertaining in your home or as lamp table.

This concept is not new and they were common throughout the 19th century, Victorian and Edwardian period. Mainly made from mahogany, walnut and rarely Rosewood.

Sheraton described them as " Quartetto tables' in the cabinet Directory 1803. In 1808 George Smith( a furniture designer) described them as " the ideal table for serving refreshments.
