🎅🎄 Santa Bus Drive – Mondeor CPF Sector 2 🎄🎅

Mondeor CPF Sector 2 hosted a Santa Bus Drive to spread some Christmas cheer in our community. Santa made his way through the area handing out sweets and both kids and adults enjoyed the chance to take photos and share a smile.

A big thank you to Fox Security, TPS Security, SA Rangers, Odyssey Security, Guardian Security, Councillor Stuart Marais, Sasol Swartgoud, our CPF patrollers and all the volunteers who gave their time and support to make this initiative possible.

We’d also like to thank the Mondeor community for the incredible support. The turnout was amazing, with families coming out in great numbers to share in the festive spirit — your energy and smiles made the day truly special.

Seeing the excitement on the children’s faces reminded us why community matters.

On 21/11/2025 around 18h00 S.A.Rangers responded to a house on Altham rd, Robertsham. On Arrival a break in was suspected, and while checking the property, managed to aprehend one of two suspects who broke open the gate, pulled pipes and electric cables from the outside and were attempting to gain entry into the house. The suspect was handed over to SAPS.

The suspects faces are hidden acording to legal requirements.

On 19/11/2025 S.A.Rangers Response Officers were dispatched to a house on Xavier st, Robertsham. While checking the property we found a male, who had broken into the yard and was busy gathering things to remove from from the property. The suspect was detained and handed over to SAPS.

Again this is a known criminal from the area. Please make sure you open cases so that these criminals can be prosecuted and remain off our streets.

On 15/11/2025 S.A.Rangers control received a message about 3 males trying to gain entry into a yard in Bideford rd, Robertsham. Response officers quickly responded and tracked down the suspects. According to CCTV footage they were tampering with several gates in the street. One of the suspects is a known criminal from the Crown Gardens area. The suspects were handed over to SAPS for further investigation.

👮‍♂️Crime Update👮‍♂️

On 04/11/2025 around 14h20
S.A.Rangers response officers and Medic responded to a robbery and stabbing in Giles st, Robertsham. The victim was robbed and his cell phones taken. The perp was apprehended and handed over SAPS. Victim was treated for his wounds and transported to hospital by Rescue786.

Currently the perp is still in custody awaiting trial.

Around 04h30 on 22/10/2025 A S.A.Rangers response officer was patrolling Great Britain st, Turfontein when he noticed signs of a breakin at a shop. As he approached, a suspect armed with a crowbar climbed out of the property and tried to attack the officer. The suspect was shot once and detained. SAPS was called and the suspect was transported to hospital. The suspect was later identified as an illegal immigrant.

🚨 SEVEN SAPS OFFICERS ARRESTED FOR EXTORTION & KIDNAPPING | JHB 🚨

The JMPD Tactical Reaction Unit (TRU) has arrested seven SAPS officers on charges of extortion and kidnapping involving an illegal miner (“Zama Zama”) found with gold-refining materials.

The officers allegedly demanded R5,000, later increasing it to R30,000, and reportedly took the victim to a loan facility to secure the payment. The JMPD TRU intervened and arrested the officers on the scene.

The Zama Zama is giving a statement to authorities. The officers are detained at Booysens Police Station, where a case of extortion and kidnapping has been opened.
