One more Blast from teh past for the week. Three days of looking back so we keep looking forward! There are many more designs from our "archives" but perhaps next week we'll take a look at our best sellers of all time....in the meantime these" oldies" are :
(clockwise from top left) Dung beetles, Emerald chafer beetle, Cape fig leaves and fruit with ladybird, Flower mantis, Flame Lily, Helen Marten's owls, White-faced owl, and African Jacana. PS just a reminder if you have any of these then consider them collectible 😉 they aren't being produced anymore.

It is Blast from the Past - day 2. .. a follow on from yesterday's "historical journey. These designs are no longer available but we share them here as a reminder of the some of teh more than 100 designs we have sold in the past 23 years. How many do you recognize?

Ento Ceramics started in 2003 and we have worked on over 100 designs. Some have been and gone and others remain as firm favourites. Choosing the next design is a huge challenge but great fun. Over the next day or so, I thought it would be fun to look back at some of the designs that are not available now. Recognise any??

Another little treat and there are only two of them! A 22 cm plate with a moulded insert and accompanying pate/sauce bowl. I have one dragonfly and one mountain iris (SOLD). They are R350 a set and you will need to Whatsapp me to book these as they will sell quickly. We are always searching for useful but interesting shapes to work with and we have found another "goodie" - a lovely 32 cm long rectangular salad bowl. It is 18 cm wide and 12 cm high. They are R400 each and we will be popping these onto the online store in teh next couple of days. Another great housewarming or anniversary present.

Sometimes a shape simply lends itself to a particular design. The Butterfly Iris seems to have been made for this very bowl! There is only one of them so if anyone wants to book it then Whatsapp Tanza 082 354 4169 (R450). It would make a great wedding present...You can collect it this coming Saturday or we can dispatch it to you next week.

We decided that it is time for Rhabdomys pumilio, the Striped Mouse to shine!This little South African rodent is beautifully marked with distinct black stripes (four of them) which makes a lovely repeat pattern on ceramics. I am proud to give this mouse a place in my house…and so indeed should you! Viva, the little rodents! We will have them at Stand i09 this Saturday.
