Job Title: Architectural Technologist
Who we are:
Designdex Architecture & Design was established in 2010 and are currently based in the south of Johannesburg. Over the years, we have grown into a leading design practice with a strong focus on large-scale industrial projects within the food and beverage industry, workplace planning in commercial environments, and national rollouts in the retail and financial sectors.
We are currently looking for an architectural technologist to fill a role in our company, see below for more information :
• Minimum of 5 years experience
• Detail driven with a strong technical ability
• Advanced Revit and AutoCAD Proficiency
• Registered with SACAP as professional.
• Able to work within a team or individually.
• The ability to identify and resolve design challenges
• Driver’s licence is essential (Manual)
It would be beneficial for the applicant to possess the following skills:
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and
construction processes
• Experience with industrial building typologies
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and services
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
