New Home in The Rest Nature Estate.

Our client requested us to design a small house an a narrow stand to be built for speculation purposes.
As always, our stand had a some significant challenges, but also a couple of very nice features, such as a couple of beautiful trees and a green belt with a view.
Even though we don’t know yet who will make this house their home, we know that it will be a house filled with love.

omething fresh is coming to Nelspruit. 🍊
KRAAKVARS is heading to the Crocodile Valley with exciting news — we’re expanding with a second location: KRAAKVARS Croc River Estate.

A lifestyle destination with good coffee, lifestyle finds and plenty of ways to get active and enjoy the outdoors.

GIITD Architects repurposed the existing milk stall on site, with an approach centred around retaining and honouring what was already there. We kept the character of the original structure and carefully sliced open the eastern façade, allowing a new sculptural roof to extend from the existing building. The result is a contemporary identity, while the original structure remains at the heart of the design. A challenge we thoroughly enjoyed and a reflection of how we approach architecture: honouring the past while contributing towards the future.

We’re pretty excited about this one. More is taking shape behind the scenes, and we’ll be sharing it as we go.

Something fresh is coming to Nelspruit. 🍊
