4 quick winter veggie patch tips! πŸ₯¬πŸ₯’πŸŒΆ

Prepping for a winter veggie patch? Have a look at these 4 quick tips to get you going.

1. Plant only what you eat or use

Plant the winter friendly veggies you only eat or use, otherwise the unnecessary items will go to waste creating excess work for you. Plus, you'll give it the extra love it needs.

2. Keep an eye on your patch 🐝

Love and attention in winter is when veggies thrive, so keep an eye on them. Keep the soil neat and tidy. Planting in winter also brings the pests near as moist soil attracts them.

3. Plant in full sun! β˜€οΈπŸŒž

This is an important one as most veggies need full day sun or at least 6 hours of it. Because winter time brings moist and wet soil, planting in the sun helps manage that aspect!

4. Don't be afraid to fail

Managing veggies in winter is challenging task, but learning what you did wrong the first time helps improve the second time πŸ€“

Also, our amazing worm castings in the compost and worm tea do crazy amazing wonders in winter to provide those EXTRA nutrients for your veggie patch or flower beds. 🐝πŸͺ±
