Lady Rosewood in the lap of luxury! Another amazing piece of wood found its purpose!

This is not just a piece of wood She started her life as a Jacaranda Tree, and then, after making way for ‘progress’ ended up lying abandoned and unloved in a builders yard for about 15 years. Derek (married to my sister Sandi), bought a property and while cleaning up spotted this very rough, but beautiful, creature. He had no need for her, but recognised her potential and asked me if I wanted to adopt her, she was too pretty to be ignored. I immediately said yes, I knew I would love her. She’s a bit skinny in places, a bit out of shape in others but, like a homeless dog, was silently begging to be loved. I took her in, my planning was to give her a home to serve as a bar counter at my office or at home. Once again she lay dormant for a year, and then you and I spoke, and I realised that her final home should be with you.
I spoke to my wood-restorer friend Leigh, and told her of our plan for her final destination, a place where she would (wood 😁) finally rest. Leigh and I have chatted and planned, groomed her, polished and shined her, getting her to look her best, ready to be at peace and live with you. When she is finally placed in your loving home, lovingly stroked from time to time, serving you and your friends, and being appreciated by you and all she serves, she will know that she’s finally found where she is meant to be. ❤️🙏
