When I started this business, choosing a name took far longer than I expected. Nothing felt quite right until I realised the answer had been there all along.
My Nonna’s name was Carolina, and she played a huge role in shaping my love for Italian food, cooking, and family gatherings. By combining Italia with my middle name, Lina, Italina was born - and somehow it just felt right.
The other day, I came across one of my Nonna’s famous handwritten recipes with her name proudly written across the top. It instantly reminded me where it all started and how much of an influence she had on my love of food and cooking.
Five years later, her legacy continues to live on through every oven we build, every meal shared around them, and the traditions that inspired it all. 🤍
