On 18 august 2025 early morning 01H30, Wolf Protection Armed Response Officer (ARO) was dispatched to Voortrekker road in Benoni following an alarm activation. Upon arrival, the officer conducted a thorough check of the property and discovered a broken wires on top of the roof . Back up was sent along, additional ARO teams responded swiftly to assist also keyholder was informed entry was made into the building.
Upon further investigation, officers noticed suspects inside the building attempting to flee and where immediately blocked by Wolf Protection Security response team the chase began on another suspect that was already gone out of the roof near municipal site where the guard also assisted in locating the suspect Two suspect was apprehended, taken into custody, and transported to Benoni SAPS for further processing. During the investigation, it was discovered that the suspect had already cut 3-phase power cables and alarm system wires inside the shop.
This swift response and successful apprehension highlight the effectiveness of Wolf Protection Armed Response Officer teamwork and coordination with SAPS in preventing further damage and ensuring justice is served. Our thanks go to the followings for their swift response and assistance
