The Police in Malamulele, under the Vhembe District have launched a manhunt for three unknown suspects following a house robbery and r**e incident that occurred at a homestead in Malamulele during the early hours of Tuesday, 28 October 2025.
According to reports, a 35-year-old female victim was asleep at her residence when she was awakened by three unknown men, one of whom was armed with a firearm. The suspects allegedly demanded money from the victim at gunpoint
When the suspects realized that the victim had no cash, they reportedly assaulted and r**ed her before robbing her of several items, including, three (3) laptops, and three (3) cellphones.
The suspects further demanded the keys to her white Nissan Hardbody NP300 bakkie, which they used to flee the scene The total value of the stolen property is estimated at R459 000-00.
