Three folding hardwood sling chairs, circa 1960s–70s. A classic of mid-century outdoor living — the sling chair format dates to early 20th century European beach and garden culture, later adopted widely across South Africa for stoep and poolside use. The frames are cleaned and varnished and they are reupholstered in fresh lime and hunter green stripe canvas.

The upholstery is the story here. A deep pink-red shot through with orange thread — it is vivid in person. (See the close-ups.)

New find: a mid- century kiaat finish desk with a black vinyl inlay top. Look at those angular Danish lines, this one has a serious presence. The top is 109 x 202 cm - perfect for someone who works with large plans or drawings, or for two people to sit on opposite sides.

Good condition, minor wear.
