AET Armed Response members were immediately dispatched and obtained information relating to the suspect's description and possible movements within the area.

Acting on the information received, response members conducted extensive patrols throughout the CBD and successfully located the suspect. Further investigation led to the recovery of the stolen property, which was returned to the complainant.

The complainant confirmed that all stolen property had been recovered and advised that he did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

• Mountain Rise SAPS

Incident Summary:

AET Control Room received a request for assistance following a theft incident involving stolen property. Information relating to the suspect was obtained and immediately relayed to operational members. Mountain Rise SAPS was notified without delay.

AET Armed Response units were deployed and conducted extensive patrols within the area. Through coordinated efforts, proactive policing, and rapid deployment, a suspect matching the description provided was successfully located and apprehended.

Further investigation led to the successful recovery of the stolen property. The suspect was subsequently handed over to SAPS for further investigation and processing.

✔️ Suspect apprehended
✔️ Stolen property recovered
✔️ Suspect handed over to SAPS
