❤🏆Driven by a friendly and deeply passionate team, the Heidelberg SPCA goes above and beyond to rescue, heal, and rehome lost, abandoned, and mistreated animals. Operating on an extremely tight budget, the shelter relies on the fierce dedication of volunteers who even run an onsite library—cleaning and selling donated books—just to raise the critical funds needed to keep the shelter afloat.
While the team works tirelessly to ensure the animals have clean, warm kennels and daily care, their utilitarian administrative and public facilities are under immense strain. With resources entirely directed toward food and veterinary medicine, structural and aesthetic maintenance has had to take a back seat, leaving their shared spaces in desperate need of an upgrade.
A floor and paint makeover would bring a massive boost to this essential facility. Installing durable, low-maintenance flooring and fresh paint would significantly ease the staff's heavy cleaning burden, lift team morale, and instantly transform the shelter into a safer, warmer, and more welcoming environment for the community and the vulnerable animals in their care.
