A combination of technology and boots on the ground leads to another arrest!

With the recent spate of housebreakings near Alexandria along the R72 Alexandria detectives were able to retrieve surveillance camera footage from the Agri funded cameras on R72 at Boschoek and additional footage from a vigilant client's camera system to identify a suspect within 24 hours of his last burglary. The suspect was arrested and not only confessed to that specific crime, but he also admitted involvement in the other break-ins.

Well done to the Alexandria Detectives for their relentless pursuit of justice! This success story underscores the effectiveness of CCTV in safeguarding our community and bringing criminals to account.

Multi Security sets the tone as we go into the weekend with another arrest!

Shortly before midnight on Thursday evening the the Multi Security control room received a panic signal from a premises in Pascoe crescent and immediately dispatched our team on the ground. Response officers MSS17 and MSS20 attended the call and swiftly apprehended a suspect in the act of stealing copper piping.

The SAPS was notified and arrived on sight. The suspect and the stolen copper was handed over and taken to the Port Alfred police station.
